I was playing a bit of minecraft and it just shut down with a click. Should I be worried?

best not to play games on battery but that sounds strange it just shutting off.
download Battery Care and see how much the % actually is.

Could you power the computer on battery after it shut down? If not, then your battery is at minimal charge and needs to be plugged into the A/C. As stated, get a program like Battery Care or Battery Bar to calculate battery wear.

Yea I could, it was at 48% or so IIRC. Used it fine for another 30 minutes until I shut it down to leave

Your battery meter might be out of calibration. Get some calibration software and run it.

If this only happened once, it could just be a freak problem/crash, etc.

    Lol, nice try everyone.

You have to go into advanced power options management and set the "go into hibernate" to whatever percentage you want.

Yeah I can pretty much bet what Mr.Mysterious said is true. I had that problem with my ASUS once and I was so frustrated for days cuz the laptop would always shut off at 40%. In the advanced power options management you'll see that there are settings:

High performance, Balanced, Power Savers (btw some are different depending on what 3rd party power management software you have)

And you might want to configure it for each power management settings too. ;)
