Looks like a row of stuck pixels. They are all white. The line runs from edge to edge, about 2 1/2 inches above the bottom of the screen. This happened suddenly, not gradually. Other than the line, the screen looks OK.
I have tried running Nick Toohills pixel fixer, no joy yet but I plan to leave it run overnight. The screen was replace in June by Sager after it got mashed by a rocking chair, and I'm still under warrenty with Phillips.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this type of problem? Is there any remedy? Or am I doomed to send it in for repair or replacement?

my girlfriend has the same problem with her acer laptop. however her line is green and is wertical and only appears when screen is under certain angle to keyboard part. if its not within this angle the screen is ok.

Yes, the angle does seem to mazke a difference in how pronounced the line is.

Well, Phillips (long term warranty) sent me a box and a return air bill. Here's hoping they fix it right.
