    Does anyone know:
    1) which internal bluetooth adapter ships from Clevo, or
    2) which internal bluetooth adapters fit in this chassis?

I am considering a barebone unit, but have not found a resource indicating which adapter is used,

    Thanks,

    D

I would highly recommend to purchase the barebones with:
    - your choice of LCD
    - videocard
    - bluetooth
    - tv tuner

These items are somewhat particular to the notebook, and not readily available for purchase elsewhere.

The other components (CPU, RAM, Optical Drive, Wi-Fi card) are standard and can be found almost everywhere.

    Thanks!
I was getting the impression that bluetooth was hard to get, but I didn't consider that it also might be hard to install as well.

I've never used any bluetooth devices and I've never felt the need to. Should I get internal bluetooth anyway? Think it'll become essential tech in the next 2-3 years?

    Sure you should!

It's just that it's when you have it that you start looking for bluetooth stuff lol. So far I have:
Both MS bluetooth mice (8000 serie)
    Palm Treo
Bluetooth stereo headset (well it sucks, but have it anyway lol).

So far the mice and Palm are the best things. Not having even a wireless adapter is nice.

Do bluetooth mice (and other devices) require separate batteries?
