The Clevo website lists the m570RU with a 1.3MP webcam. On Sager's website, the spec's for the NP5790 also list a 1.3MP webcam. But XoticPC lists the NP5790 with a 2.0MP webcam. Could someone, ahem...Justin, please elaborate. A 2.0MP webcam would absolutely be icing on the cake!

You're right, that doesn't even appear to be a factory option... Very interesting.

Thanks for pointing this out. The 2.0 is a typo on our website. It has since been updated. Sorry for the confusion.

I will mail you 700 pixels in an envelope if that will help :D

Just don't call tech support for help putting them in...they won't know how to do it either.

    LOL - now where do I insert these . . .

Just a small note about cameras - the number of megapixels a camera has does not say anything about its quality. All megapixels translate into is how big of a picture you can take pixel-wise.

yeah, its very dependent on whether the camera is CMOS or CCD right?

Well, megapixels could be said to be a limit to the quality. A high quality 1.3 MP camera will be better than a low quality 2.0 MP camera. That is why a bigger digital cameras with a decent lens will take better quality photos than a smaller camera with the same number of MP but a terrible lens.
