    Hello,

Recently purchased a Sager NP5791 with the 1920x1200 screen... The colors don't seem near as nice as on my Viewsonic vp2030b monitor.

Light yellows (hotmail's new-mail hilight or google's sponsored link hilights for example) are almost white. If I turn the screen 45 degrees to either side I can make a distinction between the white and yellow.

The difference is night and day when I plug the vp2030b into the dvi port and put them side by side.

Am I expecting too much? Is something wrong with this screen? Is there some weird vista color balance control I'm unaware of?

Nvidia does have a color correction, and digital vibrancy option in its Nvidia Control Panel (under Display Properties).

I have a Clevo notebook with a WUXGA screen, I have been very happy with it, its solid and vibrant.

It might be a loose cable that is causing the slight discoloration... you can check by tilting the screen back (opening the LCD further) to see if the screen changes its colors or flickers.

If any of that occurs, its a hardware issue and should be remedied immediately (from the vendor).
