    NP5792 CD-ROM Random Ejects?

    Well I've had this problem ever since I got this NP5792 in January and the CD-ROM drive randomly ejects even if I'm not touching the laptop. Sometimes it ejects while I'm playing games and it just now ejected while I was hanging my clothes. Sometimes I come home and find it ejected. Am I the only one having the problem or is it a known issue?

    I recommend to see if its hardware or software issue.

    to test that its not software:
    - go into BIOS and leave it there to see if the Optical Drive eject on its own
    .... if it does, then its hardware*
    .... if it does not, then its probably some software thats causing that to happen

    * contact your vendor to cross-ship a new optical drive... easy to swap.
