So I just got 64bit vista freshly installed on my NP5792 yesterday and it takes a while for it to sleep. I do the Fn-F4 for sleep, the screen black out and the laptop is still on for at least another good 10-20+ seconds until it sleeps, unlike my crappy compaq(32bit vista) which is almost instant. Sometimes the laptop doesn't even sleep. It stays black, the computer is still on, and I can't do anything but manually shut down the laptop. Any solutions for this problem?

Mmm, that's hibernation. Sleep is something else, thanks for trying to help though.
