I can't get my webcam to work. The program VideoView.

When I go to open it, it gives me an error: "Can't Open Registry Key!!"

Does anyone else have this issue? How do I go about resolving this error?

    Thanks !!

I got my NP5792 yesterday. Love it !! Great service from Justin at XoticPc.

Before you tried to install the drivers, did you make sure the webcam was powered on? Fn + F10 will power on the webcam. Try doing that and then install the drivers.

The webcam would open but when I go to click anything it would give me that message error: "Can't Open Registry Key!!"

I tried installing the driver and now VideoView program isn't there anymore.

I had the EXACT problem. Reinstall VIdeoview, and the problem should go away. Mine did.

All Drivers and Software are included with the system. Uninstall it and re-install as Rebel has stated. (You can also download any Sager Drivers from www.sagernotebook.com)

In case you have any issues please call our 24/7 support tonight and they can assist you :)

This is what I did, I uninstalled the driver under device manager, went into the driver disk and reinstalled the webcam (uner the other tab). Try that and let me know.

Please ensure the webcam is on (Fn-F10)

I uninstalled it using the application from the CD (Under the Other folder) and installed using the app from the site.

Try using the app you downloaded. It's the same driver version, but i have no idea why the driver from the CD is causing the error.
