Was checking a few Sager sellers including Sager themselves and the UJ-220 BR drive is not an option. What up with that?

disgruntled fans of HDDVD? :D As you said not even sager offers the option on their website, so they do not offer the option to the resellers. If I can get some more information on this, i'll post it for you.

Unfortunately there is a back order on the SATA Blue Ray Drives. Sager and its resellers have removed this option until they can get stock of this drive.

Justin, how long do you expect the drive to be on backorder for?

Is the blu ray player something that can be ordered at a later date from you? Say i go and order the 8660 from you at Xotic, and 30/60 days from now the blu ray players are back in stock, will I be able to order it at the same price it was available for when i was building my system or possibly lower if there is a new price cut? Also if the answer is yes, is that pretty much a plug and play item, so i can install it myself?

    (long time lerker)
I must say the advice/service those of you that work in the industry provide here is outstanding.

Yes you can always get the blue ray later and install it yourself. It is a simple install. :) Plug and play.

Thanks for your kind comments, it is appreciated.

What does this mean to those who already ordered with a BR drive? Should I change my order to a standard DVD burner? Or if I pre-ordered a 8660 should I wait?
