just a prediction, if the GTX 280m is say 20% better than the 9800m GTX, what FPS would one get in Crysis at all High at 1680x1050 res with a Dual Core ~ 2.5GHz?

i was thinking sli and not single card.

so you are right. about 25 to 30 depending on settings.

If that was with the 9800M Gtx thats alot higher than I'd thought it would be. My bad.
My remark was based off of fraps thou and me guesstimating a scale up based on my 9800M GT.
Those scores would make the 9800m GTX almost twice as fast as my GT >.>

Btw how do you run that benchmark?

ummm, no. it was ran in dual core mode, but you are right about it being sli. kind of why i told him 25 to 30 fps.
i was looking for my dual core 1 card run since i ran a few for the 4850 thread...ill just run one real quick though.

    no over clock single card

thanks! so if those benchmarks are with a dual core, then the GTX 280m should be at least 30-35FPS.

yea, due to the higher clocks, more shaders, and 55nm chip.
