I've searched the Internet high and low for an answer, and have yet to find one, so I'm turning to you enlightened gentlemen for help.

    My problem is this:
I had been running Debian on my new 6165 for several days, but was not quite happy with the unofficial drivers I was using, so I installed Windows 7 Home Premium N.
I installed all of the official drivers off of the official drivers CD XoticPC included in the packaging, and everything was working fine, until I updated Windows.
I installed a large amount of updates, mostly security-related, and rebooted. Upon rebooting, I found that my VGA button had stopped working, and the little indicator that pops up upon pressing a hotkey was not showing up, so I looked in the system tray for the icon to see if the program was running, and it was.
For some reason, however, the icon (Which is normally a little laptop) was crossed out in red.
Google and DuckDuckGo make it apparent to me that nobody else has had a similar problem. I've tried to reinstall the program several times, from the Clevo website and the driver CD, but with no luck.

Anybody here knows what the cause of this is? Most of my hotkeys work fine, but a select few (Including the VGA button) do not work without the program.
    Thanks in advance!

Recent Windows updates have been causing some headaches lately. Uninstall your drivers and re-install them if you haven't tried already. If doing it the easy and streamlined way (using the setup utility) doesn't work, then use DriverSweeper or Revo Uninstaller to remove the driver, then reboot into Safe Mode and install the driver from your Device Manager (right click on device > update driver software > browse my computer).

I sound like a broken record advising this, but it really seems to fix driver-related problems when setup utilities don't copy files over correctly.
