Is there a speculated release date for this? Xotic's website just says ships mid-september but is there like, a waiting list for this laptop? Haven't really seen or read anything about it. And correct me if I'm wrong but I owned an older Intel laptop that had special RAM and supported more than 'two' channels technically, but once you got above a certain amount of RAM it would drop to single channel. This is an Ivy Bridge notebook with only 3 DIMM's, why is there no fourth? Unless I'm mistaken that will force the laptop to run the last 4-8GB to run single channel mode?

And I've noticed this laptop has no displayport? Seems like an odd choice not to have as I was looking into purchasing one of those korean 27" displays.

How does the 660m compare to the 670m? Does Keplar out-clock/out-perform the 670m or is that not within this realm of possibility?

The other laptop I was looking at was a p150em w/ 7970m assuming things are fixed, but this is a good $500 cheaper than that laptop..

670 better than 660 even though 670 is fermi. 660 could overclock to 670 levels, but i think 670 could still overclock a bit more itself

Thanks for the info on that, I just assumed that the 660m's newer architecture would allow it to outperform the 570/670m with driver updates/oc'ing.

The 660m struggles tonreach 670m levels, the 670m can then overclock another 30-40% ahead.
