    So my budget is more or less around $1250 for a decent 1080p laptop.

    I was looking at these models and I know the NP8950/NP8952 are a tad higher but was not sure how much better quality they are over the NP7850, I am willing to shell out a little more if they are significantly better.

    It's a better battery life and lower weight as the advantages.
