How about just switchable graphics and/or modular optical drive bay?

How long of battery life are you getting with the 20-25w draw? like 3 hours?

yeah about 3 hours. its probably about 24 watts on average, and i have a 79 W/H battery so i get just over 3 if do nothing with the laptop, but i have the 485m, so the 560m would have more battery life.

I just order mine with a 6990M, and am trying to get an idea of what kind of battery life I'll be getting.

I only get about 2.5 hours with battery life with GTX 560m, and that's basic web surfing. Could barely make it through a 2 hour blu-ray (Serenity) before got warnings battery at 10%. Even if sitting completely idle BatteryBar registered less than 3 hours life. I guess don't buy any Sager laptop if you need any decent amount of battery life (i.e. > 2 hours).
