Hi, I've been searching the forums, and can't find anyone who has done what I am trying to do.

I'm trying to use an EXP GDC Beast for to run Windows with VT-d under KVM on a P151HM1. I have a 2820QM processor coming, which supports VT-d, and I believe the board supports this as well, however good data is hard to find on that. Intel says this chipset does not support it, but they say it also doesn't support things that I have working from the factory: according to them USB 3.0 and MXM 3.0 should not be on this computer.

The BIOS dump shows options for VT-d and everything has "Yes" under the "Show" column, with Access Level "Default". When I actually go into the BIOS, I have no options. The only thing I can even SEE under "Advanced" is Bluetooth power state at boot. No RAM timings or any standard BIOS options are available, only boot order and Supervisor Password.

OEM Data String on the BIOS is
    Code:
    CLEVO:P15HMx-1.01.14LS1
Do I need to set access level to USER for everything in order to get a normal BIOS menu like you'd get on a desktop motherboard? Or is there some other BIOS I should be using?

Don't think the HMs ever got an unlocked BIOS. Prema mod BIOS certainly transforms EM onwards

Yes the stock BIOS is empty. It's ridiculous that while so many Clevos are bought by tweakers that we have to rely on customisers to mod in options.

On the HMs the USB 3.0 was not chipset supported (implemented by external chip) and MXM 3.0 is a standardised interface between GPU and the PCIe input into the chipset so I'm not sure whether native support for it is relevant; tl;dr I wouldn't read too much into it from those being present in the system despite not being officially supported

Thanks, sounds like no IOMMU support for me. Too bad, the wireless slot is all alone on Port 3 too- just what I would have needed.
