    Hello i sent out a ticket regarding my beep noise with a click noise on 12/30/11 and still didnt get a response. I even PM'ed on notebookreviews and still didnt get a response. This is the problem.

    i got my laptop on december 9th and its been about 2~3 weeks. After a week or so after i got my laptop... i hear this clicking noises... i posted it on this forum but never really got a perfect answer...
    i was deciding to update the firwmare to 0005SDM from 0002SDM but people said that sometimes doesn't fix it...so i didnt do it.


    the noise i hear is this

    at 11~13 seconds you hear the beep noise. i hear this with a clicking noise before the beep noise. This person that posted the video had the same problem as me but i dont know if he fixed it or not. I got it from seagate forum.

    i dont know if this is a hard drive issue or the laptop issue.

    this is the first post that i posted regarding this issue. i still hear the thing when i changed it to balance mode or power save mode.

    Can you tell me the steps on how to get an RMA please? Never done this before.

    I don't know if that's a defect or not. We have the same laptop (not NP8130, that's a sager) and i don't hear anything coming from the HDD, even when it's under heavy load. If the HDD is performing normally, then it's a hard issue, but perhaps the beeping noises is a sign of hardware failure?

    im getting a RMA and a new one. hopefully that one doesnt make any noises. I dont get ANY BSODs. just often click and beep noises. i dont know why
