    They are identical, the only difference is the S-1 has a higher starting configuration. It is a special deal package. For example the S-1 has as standard the 95% NTSC Color Gamut screen.
    It can save you money if you are getting a higher configured NP8130. :)

    And just to add that the S1 isn't always the same options- it changes with new hardware. Think of it as the 8130 with discounted extras. It can stay with the same configuration for a few weeks or months, or may be discontinued at any time for a new configuration. But everything else babyhemi said is also true :)
