Thanks for the link . I downloaded your drivers. Still no luck. It seems that if I install the driver through the setup.msi it seems to run fine with no errors. however if i try to run the enroll.exe under the Drivers folder it gives me an error , "fingerprint management application has stopped working. " I even tried installing the inf files but it wont run.

    Any Ideas?

I have tried uninstalling the software , uPek protector suite but I cant seem to find any fingerprint drivers installed. ( I did not uninstall any driver )
But now when i try to install the drive it just comes up with the error Fingerprint management application not working.

    :(

EDIT : also worth noting that i couldnt find any biometric branch under device manager. Heck i couldnt find any fingerprint driver at all.

I was going to ask you about the device manager 30secs ago.

Seems like there "might" be some cable unplugged.
I could post my device manager screenshot after I get home, so we know what it looks like there. Dunno its exact name.

At any rate, you might wanna contact your reseller, they will give you some idea of what may be wrong.

If its a simple case of cable unplugged, you might do it yourself if you are handy enough with the screwdriver.
