    Hey,
I should be receiving my NP8150 tomorrow (fingers crossed), if not on Thursday. I will be installing RAM (not under keyboard, but in the back), a primary HD, and as secondary HD with an optical drive caddy that was included separately from XoticPC.

Xotic said I should be able to do everything with just a standard Phillips head, is this correct?

Any tips, suggestions, instructions on how to do the installations?

I am just hoping it will be pretty self explanatory.

    Thanks

    Hi,

It is pretty simple and to install the hard drives and ram will take 10 minutes tops, all you need at Xotic said is a phillips screw driver

If I ordered an np8130, do I have to do self installation? Or is this a special thing you specifically requested from XoticPC? I'm worried cuz I wouldn't want to have to assemble the stuff together myself...

    Ah, I'm relieved.

My np8130 is getting here on thursday. When did you order? I placed my order on April 21st, but it only actually got processed on April 25th (good friday weekend). The guy at reflexnotebook said that there would be a 10-15 day build time due to a delay...but my laptop got shipped on the 28th....I was so surprised. Can't wait to get it this weekend!
