After idling my laptop restarts instead of going into sleep mode despite the settings telling it to sleep. This is extremely annoying. What could be causing this? (Windows 10)

I think it should be the windows 10...I just bought np8173 and I'm having much more issues, can't sleep it(freezes at black screen and stays forever powered on), freezing when restarting, also I can't install almost any driver or software, without the need of "Hard reset", then hoping it will work(currently can't install my samsung printer driver, installing it and at some point it freezes for eternity)...
Do you have these issues? ... If you do, I really hope somebody can help us...(Not a native speaker, sorry for my English)

The only time it should auto-restart is after an update, certain driver installs, or when a program requests it to. Otherwise there's either a problem with the OS, or a hardware malfunction.

Is it happening only when attempting to sleep?

If the problems began at the installation of W10, the OS probably has a driver that isn't playing nice. If it worked fine and suddenly does not, it could be a hardware defect or an automatic Windows update (which could include a driver update) is causing the problem.

If you have a System Restore backup dated prior to when the problems began, apply the System Restore and see if the problem is resolved.
