just been reading through a manual i found and it says it only supports 2 pieces running at 1600 MHz is that true ? i ordered myself an i7-2720qm and 16 gb of 1600 MHz so curious if its going to run exactly the same as 2x 1600 mhz and 2 x 1333 or if they will all run at 1600 mhz.

It's only officially 2x sticks at 1600Mhz due to the requirements for the standard, but unofficially it seems there haven't been any problems with people that have run 4x sticks at that speed. If it's not running at the right speed though, it wouldn't be 2x 1333 and 2x 1600 - all 4 would run at the slowest speed of 1333.
