I just got my NP8170, and installed the latest production Ubuntu (10.10). I don't see any wireless drivers in the "Additional Drivers" dialog like I'm used to. Where can I get wireless drivers for Linux? Or at least, what is the make/model of the wireless card so I can go track drivers down?

I have Intel 6300 Advanced-N and on Ubuntu 10.10 drivers installed automatically.

I can confirm, Ubuntu 10.10 should auto detect and install the drivers (at least for the 6300 adapter). Luckily, Ubuntu forums have plenty of resources to help manually installing the drivers.

If it's for the stock Wifi, you have to download and compile the drivers from Realtek.
