My GPU 6990M is dying, and I want to get it replaced since my laptop is only slightly less than 2 years old.

Would this 675M work? The listing says it fits but I want to double check with you guys.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M MXM 3.0 DDR5 2GB video for alienware MSI upgrademonkey | eBay

or what other cards would you guys recommend?

I'm trying not to spend a lot but I don't want a subpar card either since I'm used to the power of the 6990M.

    Thanks a lot!

Hmm >.> The reason why I didn't think of the 7970m instead was that it's like close to double to the price of the 675m..

@Hutsady Hey, I got my sager from Xoticpc. Do you guys sell cards directly?

Sorry Sager no longer has them in stock and we dont carry them either. There are some reputable ebay sellers, probably your best bet.

Just make sure to buy a Clevo card, not a Dell/Alienware one, as it will not work.

Oh, okay. Thanks a lot. That really helps me.

@Hutsady Ah damn. Thanks though ^^

Guess I'll take my time to consider.. 700(converted to my local currency) for the 7970M is quite a lot :(

Edit: I was taking a look on Ebay at the 7970Ms but all I could find were cards for P150HM/151HM/150EM/151EM/170EM. None for P170HM though, I assume I gotta find one specific for P170HM?

I think as long as it's a Clevo you're fine.
