I have a bad rattle in my keyboard while typing and was wondering what the easiest way would be to eliminate this. I did a forum search and found a post about this in the 8150, but didn't find a good solution. Any advice?

not getting any on mine, the rattle on the np8150 could be fixed with tape though so I'm guessing it would be the same for the np8170.

I fixed it earlier. I basically placed small pieces of thin foam tape (single-sided adhesive) and placed small pieces in various areas on the chassis under the keyboard. The foam was thick enough to provide a shock absorbing cushion yet not so thick that it causes the keyboard to bulge any. Also, because it is single sided, I don't have to worry about difficulty in removing the keyboard later on, should I need to.
