I have it connected to my external SBLIVE and every couple of hours it suddenly starts changing the volume up and down in windows (this blue window appears with the sound panel) every couple of seconds. Sometimes disconnecting the USB solves the issue, sometimes it keeps doing it even when not connected to an external card. After enough disconnections/reconnections it stops doing it until it resumes doing so at a latter time.

Anyone experienced the same issue? I'm running windows 7 64-bit

Does it ever do it when you boot up without the soundblaster card present? Or is it only during/after you've had that USB sound card installed? If it's the latter, I would presume it's a software issue with the external card, in which case you might want to try installing/uninstalling the related drivers. If it's the former, do the same thing for the realtek stock drivers.
