I just got my 8250-S in today and put a mSata in and another Hard drive, installed windows, all the drivers and games and such.

I am currently having two issues though.

First issue, when playing games (plugged in). Occasionally my screen will dim for a second or two then brighten back up to normal, and it will do this 2-3 times per minute.
Also I'm tending to have connection issues more often. When playing Black Ops II i will get the connection interrupted thing pop up and its only up for maybe 1/2 second to 1 second then goes away, but it will happen 4-5+ times a minute. I'm not sure if the killer network is setup wrong or what, but its kind of annoying. Because of course it usually happens when im trying to shoot someone.

The constant lag thing is generally a problem with game servers. I have that problem in World of Tanks. It's a reoccurring issue. :p

    .
Except on my desktop its not an issue with same internet connection. It turns out it was a faulty Ethernet cable that was causing it though.

Yea, Newest drivers. Apparently it had something to do with my GPU overclock. I turned down the overclock some and it stopped.

do you have a standard 180W powerbrick? maybe the overclock was drawing just barely more power then the brick could supply, causing the screen to dim...

yep, there u have ur answer. uve been overstressing the psu and ur system started to throttle until the psu recovered again. dont overdo it, if u trip ur psu too often u might kill it and ur system with it. better get urself a modded 240w brick if u plan to overclock much

Yeah the brightness dimming is likely the battery kicking in which wont do it any good either. This should not happen at stock, if it does contact your reseller.
