I ordered an NP8268-S, received it, and thought everything was good. On inspecting the bottom I found that the model was just an P150SM. The only Sager laptop I can find that uses this build was an NP8265, where tons of people had hotkey software issues like I'm having with this laptop.
Did I receive the wrong laptop, or is it possible for me to have an NP8268-S with a clevo p150SM?

I believe you can tell via the chipset revision.

Bottom of the p150SM and p150sm-a both say p150sm.

8268 and 8268-s are same laptop. The S is already upgraded with a few components. Usually the S models are a little cheaper than an equivalent upgraded regular model but because the 4810mq jumped up $100 there's hardly a savings. I believe the 8265 is a p150sm also but with the gaudy cosmetic upgrades.

The -A is different to the none -A, the -A is guaranteed to have the latest chipset and have all msata ports working as well as what GPUs are officially supported. The differences are minor though so a lot of the markings are very similar.
NP8268-S has a P150SM instead of a P150SM-A?
