    Hey guys,

Looking for advice on which of these two models to purchase. They are nearly the same size, and spec but have a few differences. Going to be used heavily for gaming.

The main thing I'm stuck on is to go with the np8278-s with the 970m with 6gb and a TN panel, or the other with 3gb vram and an IPS display and also has more system ram and a slightly better processor.

I also notice that the np8671 is lighter than the 8278, but worry the cooling won't be as good.

TN panels are usually better for gaming as they have faster response times. For the vRAM you wont really notice that in much games now but down the road more and more can take advantage of more.

I recommend that you buy through XoticPC as you can then get ram upgrades and such right through their website as well as customize a whole bunch of other things for really cheap.
