Is there a setting in the UEFI Settings menu that allows me to do this? I have an annoying issue where when I first boot the system up with my USB mouse and keyboard, the system hangs at the Sager splash screen. I can only get around this by unplugging all USB devices and then booting up the system as normal, then re-plugging the USB devices in after Windows 10 boots.

I've looked in the menu but I do not see anything that comes to mind. Is there an obscure setting in the manual somewhere I'm missing?

The boot order should get round this, sounds like something else is going on.

You could go to add remove programs and undo the update.

It seems I've found the root of the problem in Event Viewer:

Idle power management features on processor x in group x are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware. (Event ID 34)

How would I go about installing updated Firmware?

That might be a red herring but your reseller usually.
