now the deliveries are starting to flow i thought it a good idea to start this mini survey so as to keep the heat issue in one thread.
as there have been so many posts and threads about temperature issues hopefully everyone that has received their new beasts will post their readings here and make it a lot easier for everyone to view them and hopefully dispel the worry of an almost nuclear meltdown.
please only post your survey replys on this thread. for all other comments please post them here

Hi folks,
Am I missing something here ... Temps in 50'sC and 60'sC and you folks are complaining and returning your units.
GPU in IDLE Temps of 50'sC ... I would kill for Temps like that.
Try GPU Temp from turning your laptop ON and in 15 minutes time in IDLE reading 83 to 87C. Now that is what I call NVIDIA real Heat Problem! Like in my "NVIDIA 8600M GT".
Thanks,
G! -

21. Have you or are you thinking of returning your laptop because of the above temperatures: Initially - maybe, for HD temps but not now. Despite HDD concerns this is th best built laptop I have ever owned.
22. Have you or are you thinking of returning your laptop for any other reason: No - however, I am very eager to get news on upgrading current GPU to the M260 ASAP.
