There are so many initial impression/reviews its hard to keep track of everything, but I think a lot of people are concerned with two things, heat and noise. So let's start a thread to track everything so people who want to buy can make the best decision (including me :p )...

Please answer the following questions if possible, i know the questions are very general and varies depend on different activities...but try pick the answer that 1st come up in your mind. Thank you very much.

From what I have seen so far, most people say noise is not an issue.

Hard Drive Type: 320gig warm at right palm area: I'm averaging around 49-53C
    Does the heat bother you:No
    General Noise Level silent:
This is quieter than my old laptop and much quieter than my desktop... I can't even hear it unless there is nothing else making noise in the room. Hell.. the keyboard is the loudest thing on the computer.
Does the noise bother you?: no
Do you regret your purchase: No
Additional Comments:Turbo memory has a glitch but has now been resolved (there is a post about it) the only thing I don't like is the keyboard. It's a bit loud and I don't like how it's sunk lower then the housing arround it, making hitting keys at the edges a bit uncomfortable. I think I'm actually developing a calice on my thumb where it hits the housing below the space bar every time I hit it.

Anyone got a way to raise the space bar and reduce the keyboard noise?

    Geneal noise level: What noise?
Does the noise bother you: See above

Overall, an EXCELLENT notebook, would easily recommend it to anyone on this forum that feels that it would be a good fit for their needs.

I have a 200GB 7200RPM (Toshiba MK2049GSY according to HWMonitor). I found the specifications on Toshiba's website and the operating temperature should be around 55C. I'm hovering around 55C now but it will go over that when I'm gaming. Anyone else wants to look up their specs and let us know?

I would also be interested in GPU & CPU temps, if owners have those available (and any other info, have you cooled it, what's the room temperature, idling vs gaming). I'm not sure what the temps above refer to (HD temps, I assume? because GPU would be my concern)
