Anyone know where I can find keyboard skins/covers? Or are all the covers compatible with any laptop?

notebook keyboards are not standard.... so you will have to get a custom protector.

I would not worry about it much. I have been vigorously using mine for over 2.5 years now... no issues, only a bit of gloss over the keys from usage.

In any case, you can always get a keyboard replacement, its actually one of the cheapest components to replace on the notebook.

Ah I see. My main concern was to have particles (be it food or dust) build up under the keys. It'd be nice if there would be additional accessories that companies could release for people who demand it. Guess I'll just have to be extra careful.

That wouldn't be so useless: my spacebar is starting to wear out, like the little matte cover is gone =[

I actually dislike glossy keyboards, they feel 'sticky'.

+1 on this opinion. 3 of my mates have those new Toshiba Laptops (Qosmio I think) that everyone has these days.... anyway, they are horrible to type on, the keys feel rather unresponsive, and the stickiness would drive me mad
