Good Day, we are pleased to inform you that we are moving your item into production. We expect to ship all NP8660 orders within 3-9 business days. We are shipping orders in the order they were received. Those who have ordered on the 15th, will be the first systems shipping out. The only items that are not in stock at this time on this model is the WUXGA Display and the Blue Ray Drives. Remaining items are in stock.

I preordered from Xotic on July 22nd. Wonder how long it'll take to get to canada (express $110 shipping)...

 

I'm still pending parts arrival at Xotic. Silly WUXGA screens.

 

For those of us that ordered late, is there any guesstimate of how far set back we will be?

 

Never mind, I just got an email saying my laptop is being moved into production. So I'm guessing they'll assemble the chassis and then wait for screens to arrive.

Ordering late should not affect your shipping date by much more than a week.

 

Can't wait for some initial thoughts about build quality and bencharks!

Perhaps you can change the order, and order them by decending by order date.

 

I don't think it matters since they will be shipped from Sager, and the order is determined by when your reseller send your information to sager...

 

And the order of your information being sent to Sager is determined by the order in which your reseller received your payment.

Guys this doesnt really apply but Nameinsert requested that i add my info... so here. I ordered mine on the 8th at 3:08 or 12:08 californian time. i checked on the 11th to see that my order status was processing. I repeated called/harrassed the lynnbay rep >< who told me to call back on wednesday. and on wednesday he 1st told me that it was going on then, but later called back to say it was going out thurs. and noW on friday, I have iT. posting some random cell pics asap

FWIW, I used the 'secured payment' method, where it is held with a credit card (but not charged) and I am sending a check to receive the cash discount. I placed the order at 10:13 and got an immediate reply with an order number. The status change and order total/check sending instructions came 3 hours later at 1:14.

 

so fast ... I hope mine get shipped soon...
