    NP8660 and Virtualization

    Im getting ready to spring for am NP8660 but need to run Suns VirtualBox on it, but I cant seem to find out if the bios supports virtualization, the CPU does, so does anyone know , thanks.

    there is a similar thread about this as well for another current Clevo notebook.

    seems that you will need to contact Sager, so that they will be able to ask Clevo for a new custom BIOS with the option.

    By default, I would think virtualization to be enabled... not 100% sure about this though.

    Took your advice and contacted sager, got a nebulous response, wonder if any owner of an np8660 (or any new sager laptop) could look at their bios and see if under the CPU catagory they have something like "Virtualization Technology [enabled/disabled] " , if its there guess that the answer (good) if not, one has to hope its enabled I guess.
