First of all, my NP8660 has out performed every single one of my expectations. It helps that I was a much more experienced and knowledgeable notebook purchaser (thanks in no small part to these forums) for this purchase, however, I can't imagine there was a better purchase out there when I bought this. I loved my old Asus but this sager is amazing.

Now, onto the meat, is there any way for me to fiddle with the contrast and gamma on this beast so I can get my display colors a little closer to my print colors? I realize there is no hardware control for either and I believe photoshop has been ignoring any changes I make through the nvidia console so I'm probably screwed, however, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

I tried a few tools for adjusting the gamma but they either didn't work or didn't even start up in Vista. I'm having absolutely no luck with adjusting or finding a tool to adjust the contrast and my color settings otherwise seem to be in good order; high resolution, 32 bit color, sRGB is default in the monitor's color settings but my work still look beautiful on the monitor and prints like a horrible nightmare from the neon days of the early 90's.
