    NP8660 locking while gaming

    Hey all,

    I'm hoping for some tech help. I have this problem which was sporadic but now seems to happen pretty much every time I game. I'm playing a game and then suddenly, the game locks, screen goes black and then 3 to 6 seconds later is goes back to the game. I've got the latest drivers for both Windows and graphics card and temps never rise about 42C. What am I missing?

    Is your Seagate Momentus a Hybrid hard drive. You can try updating the drivers on that if you haven't recently. It sound like it could be a read issue.

    Updated hard-drive drivers, still had the error. I've got the most recent display drivers, I wonder if a while back actually switching to the new one's made it unstable. Does anyone have any recommendations for drivers?
