Which one of those two laptops has better battery life?

Usually, if laptops have the same specs is it better to play on a 15.4 inch laptop from a performance view?

the physical screen size doesn't matter, the resolution counts. however, smaller screens usually have lower resolutions, so from a performance standpoint, the smaller laptop with the lower resolution would perform better, yes.

I would disagree, the small the screen the more it tends to have a higher res. Example The Sony Z has 1600x1200 and 15 inch laptops have 1920x1200. But for performance 17 inch will tend to be faster but is alway about the gpu that they cram inside.

The NP8660 will have better battery life because it has a small screen and that is where the most battery goes. And 14.1 inch is more than big enough for me to game on.

I just saw the mistake I ment 8660 not the 5795
    my bad

    I'm sorry, but what!?

Larger screens tend to have larger resolutions, and shorter battery life.

Making Screens the smaller it is the easier it is to put in more pixels. That is why the Fujitu can have a 1280x800 on a 5.6 inch screen. But some 20inch LCDs cant do that. It is all about production, it is easier to make pixels small than "big". And even TVs only have 1920x1200 max (even 100inch ones).
