    What is the estimated battery life "loss" when you have a quad core, specifically the q9100(45w) versus the p8700(25w)?

    What scenario are you comparing these two processors under? Everyday use? Typically you can expect ~15minutes less of computing from what I have gathered under normal usage(not gaming).

    well im never really gonna plan to play on battery so i guess its normal use, internets surfing, note taking, stuff like that.

    The both downclock while on battery, so unless you're stressing the CPU, you'll have minimal losses.
