Hi, Guys! I have a question pertaining to Sager's battery. If I'm going to use my laptop for quite long period, should I keep the battery attached or take it out? Coz my friend has ever told me if I take out the battery, it will affect the motherboard (the heat will be transferred to the motherboard instead, not to the battery). But some say that it is better to take out te battery if it is going to be used for a prolonged time. Is that true? What I always do now, I keep it attached, using the laptop w/o plugging the cord while it is fully charged, then plug the cord if it reaches the limit.
what is the best and safest way for the laptop and the battery itself?
Thanx a lot.

I wouldn't never run a laptop without the battery... You can accidentally unplug the AC power adapter from it and then something horrible could happen. But really, you don't have to worry so much... so long as you monitor the temperatures and clean the vents when the temps go up, you should be fine.

Oh, so no problem keep it attached? Thanks. How to do the vents cleaning btw?

The m860tus battery is most inconvenient to remove due to it actually being one of the supports for the laptop. I'd suggest you just leave it in.
But that's just me, I never beleived in removing the battery from the laptop. If that were the case, why didn't you just buy a desktop? -
Well if you don't have any power failures and never forget to put her back before unplugging it, take it out to gain a little more out of your battery. But I forgot 2 times now to put the battery back and I got really scared so I just let her in. (It was dark so I didn't notice the battery beside

Just a quick question, how big is the power adapter?
