I am wanting to buy the Sager NP8662 and was wanting some information on anything that present owners have wrong with this laptop. What you like-what you don't like etc. Also, Sager being on the Clevo model, how does this system do with heat and does the keyboard light up?

Thanks for the quick reply. I must have missed those links while looking for something similar. Still if anyone has something to say please feel free to express or give some more links. Thank you.

Essentially, get the M860TU if you:
Intend to do a lot of high intensity primarily graphics-oriented work.
Play current and new FPS games on higher quality.
Like stuffing as much theoretical power as possible and bragging about benchmark scores.
Want a desktop replacement that can be transported with minimal hassle.
Want to blend in while doing any of the above.
Don't get the M860TU if you:
Only intend to play older games and MMOs. There are cheaper laptops that can run them just as well. Also some games like FIFA; the keyboard isn't friendly with those games.
Intend to be away from an AC adapter often.
Are looking for something thin and light.
Are mainly looking to do mundane tasks like browsing and taking notes on it.
Want something for people to gawk at.
Want awesome speaker quality.
Plan on using this on your lap a lot.
The M860TU is overall just a powerful and reliable workhorse. Other than its best-in-class performance, a lot of other stuff is unremarkable, such as battery life, size/weight, and noise. Clevo does a good job to make the M860TU appear as thin as possible at first glance but the thing is indeed about 2 inches thick at the back. If you don't think you really need a 260M [and mind you a lot of games still run just fine on a 9600] there's probably a better deal for your money.
Quad support is also a big consideration for a lot of people but as I see it, quads aren't too much more than bragging rights right now. By the time most software gets optimized enough to really see a difference by going quad, it's probably time for a new laptop platform. -
I agree with Tabnir completely.
I would like to add tho that you can use this laptop easily for simple tasks on your lap, you just can't game on your lap, something I can never really imagine doing.
To answer your question, no the keyboard doesn't light up, and the system deals with heat really well. The only flaw might a lil' hardrive heat. Nothing serious in 99.99999999percent of cases. (In 100% of recent cases.. I believe)
I just got mine, and I can say, I have no complaints about it at all, even the looks, and I'm a huuge fan of flashy "alienware-esque" looks.
The exceptions to having no complaints is the features in the case design. The case has no lighting, which is useful at night, and it lacks some useful tactile controls for volume. But that is NO reason not to get this laptop. Trust me. -
I was typing up that text wall on my lap and the WiFi module heat really got annoying after a while. I guess though if you're wearing jeans you won't feel a thing.
If you enjoy FPS games, this is the 15.4" for you, if nothing more than the unique innard layout which keeps the left palmrest cool. Most laptops heat up under the left palmrest and leave the right side cool which gets annoying when your only hand on the laptop is on WASD. -
Thanks for the quick replies. I posted http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=401581 a couple of days ago. This might help some to clarify some shady areas about what I want. Now, your referring to the Clevo models in your post? Which are the same thing I just don't know the specs on them off the top of my head.

Clevo M860TU = Sager 8662 if that's what you're asking.
