I recently bought a used laptop here on the board- Almost everything's good, but I want to upgrade the HD.
I've done this with different laptops-
The issue I face is dealing with partially stripped screws. The two screws that are securing the HD are stuck. I already tried to apply some WD-40 to hopefully loosen them before I try to apply too much force and damaging them-
What can I use to loosen the screws? I have the right size philips screwdriver-
I would rather not have to saw off anything if it can be avoided. I also don't want to spend 50 bucks or so taking to repair shop for something so rudimentary-
Thanks in advance-

Use a little bit of epoxy or krazy glue with your screwdriver and let it settle for a few minutes. Then proceed from there. You can ask your vendor to send you spare screws. RJTech sent me four extra hard drive screws for my old Clevo for free before.

ask your vendor for a new set of screws.

Yeah, I'm gonna do that-
BTW, the screws finally came off-
It took a combination of a little bit of WD-40, a smidgen of DUCU Cement (eq of crazy glue) a mangled flat head screwdriver, and alot of impatience.
Thank you everyone, for your help-
