Hello. It's been a while since I posted on here. My last laptop ran like a champ for the basic stuff but I wanted something a little more fun to play with. I've been reading this section of the forum for a while now. Well my NP8662 just showed up today. Windows 7 7600 x64 install went smoothly but I can't seem to get the battery bar to show "Time Remaining". All I see is the percentage of battery life left. I did a couple of searches and couldn't find this issue listed. Is there a way around this? Hoping I'm missing something.

I've never seen the "Time Remaining" on the battery icon on my M860(E)TU, neither in Windows 7 nor in Vista.

Unfortunately, this is a feature that has to be supported by the motherboard/battery, and clevo doesn't support it.

There are a few apps that extrapolate battery time remaining, I use 'iStat battery mod2' sidebar gadget

BatteryBar will also show you time remaining. I use it on my netbook.
