    NP8662 motherboard burn out, anyone know how much to fix it?

    my sager np8662's motherboard just burn out, it's the area that connect the gpu I believe, does anyone have an idea the cost to fix it and where?
    If it cost too much I will just get the new 8150.

    You should try contacting your original retailer to see if they can source a new motherboard for you. They are often extremely expensive parts to replace though, so in the end it may make more sense to sell the machine for parts and buy new.

    The motherboard for this model is $400.00 + labor charges at Sager.

    So yes it may not be best to pour this kind of money into it. :(
