This should be really simple...but on my old laptop if I pressed both touchpad buttons it considered it a middle mouse button click. I used it all the time to open links in new tabs in Firefox, and I really miss that on my 8662. Is there a way to enable that on this laptop? I've looked through the settings, but I may have missed something.

It just acts as a middle mouse button in general when you press both buttons.

The tab thing was just an example - in Firefox, if you middle-click a link it will open it in a new tab. I just in general want pushing both buttons = middle click.

Think it has to do with something specific on your old laptop, because i have never heard about that possibility of pressing both buttons before, and have never seen it on any laptops before.

I was able to do this on my Dell Inspiron E1505.

I know what you mean, and used to do this frequently on a dell vostro a860.
No it doesn't seem to work on the m860tu.
