I just received my NP8690 so far I am loving it :)

The only thing I am not very excited about is this huge power adapter... I was wondering what I need to look out for as sager is not listed in any of the compatible one for tips.....

Was wondering if someone has found a nice universal adapter that is much smaller and ac/dc friendly for all the traveling I do.

    Thanks!

There are none. Get used to the big PSU.

You can buy DC/Air/Car adapters from your reseller. But SS is right, you're not going to find a 3rd party power brick. Sorry!

There is no getting away from it when you consider how powerful all of the components are.

That is a horrible solution because then I have to pack two huge bricks with me :(

Well don't blame me, I didn't design it. :) Those are your options, you can always return the notebook.

If you want to buy an extra PSU without plunking down the Benjamins, you can get this. This is the exact same OEM Li-Shin 120W PSU that powers all of our Clevo's, but with a straight plug instead of a right angle plug. Yes, the plug is identical to the ones on our PSU's now; I measured it myself. You can also request which AC power cord you need to fit your region's wall outlet. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Genuine-LI-...ZLaptop_Adapters_Chargers?hash=item5ad3bd20c0
