    They are typically all the same as long as its a 12.7mm and SATA connection.

    I'm thinking more about the ability to easily fit the "cover" from the optical drive onto the caddy for the "incognito" look.

    I already have a caddy, but I would probably spend the $$ on a new Sager one (*nudge nudge*) if I knew that it would fit well and allowed me to easily fit the optical cover on without Dremel tools and Crazy Glue.

    it will work, i have the same one, it is interchangeable with any standard 12.7mm caddy so your good to go.
