Can i replace the screen? I am not digging the glossy screen. Where can i get a replacement screen?
Any guides/tutorials on how to replace the screen?

I want a nice matte screen with good color brightness and no bleed.

Yes you can replace the screen. A very popular one is the AUO B156HW01 V4 which is a 95% NTSC gamut matte screen. Many people on the forum have and love it, and I do think its the best screen for a notebook I've seen.

Do you guys know where I can find out how to instal the display on this model, is it easy?
Also, do laptop coolers make a big difference on this model?

Where can I get a genuine AUO B156HW01 from? (Asked reseller)
Are there touch screens for this model?
Should I update the bios, if so where do you get the update?

Bios get from your reseller. If you are happy with current setup and have no apparent reason to upgrade BIOS, then answer is don't upgrade BIOS.

Screens advice and purchase from your reseller. Laptop cooler gives you 3-8 degrees Celsius cooler, depending on fan placement and room temperature. No touch screens.

Switching out the screen is easy for some and daunting for others. I don't know your experience so can't comment. Your reseller should be able to give you step by step or diagrams. If not, contact mythlogic. They prolly will :)

Ok thanks lol, I have a LG screen and it um... it's ok lol.
My reseller doesn't have the parts not even the AUO B156HW01. Nor a BIOS update.
I am hunting around for a replacement cover for the bottom cpu/gpu fans.
I will leave the BIOS alone thanks for all your help it is very much appreciated.

I am having trouble trying to fin a legit: AUO B156HW01.
Ive taken apart laptops. I have took apart my GF Toshiba satellite to clean it out. Replaced keyboard/speakers. Put a SSD in here. Not sure but if anyones swapped out the screen let me know.

If you are comfortable doing those things then changing screen isn't much harder. A little more precision is required but otherwise it's same ol same ol.

Contact xoticpc representative and also mythlogic. One of the two ought to have a screen they can sell you. Same with the bottom plate.

What do you have to remove to replace the screen? I think there are screws behind the 2 little rubber pads on the screen. Where does it connect to? Just remove audio bar?
This LG screens is really wack. I really want that : AUO B156HW01 v4 i hear so much about now.

Congrats, you'll love the screen. The install should go pretty easily if you're comfortable doing that type of thing.

I was wondering, can you put a touch screen on here? I noticed windows 8 going full touch screen on allot of comps.

    I already changed it.
I read someone put a touchscreen the p150em.
That's actually awesome but it look like it took some work.

Is the site www.usa-laptop-screen.com reputable? I'm kind of iffy on buying from any reseller that has no public reviews or anything.
