I'm eagerly awaiting my NP9150 from XoticPC and I was wondering if anyone with that machine or the 8150 could give me some advice on a notebook cooler. I like to game with the machine on my lap and of course I don't want to put it right on my legs for fear of airflow blockage. Any suggestions?

Also, I'd suggest investing in a lapdesk. Those are handy, even for gaming.

+1 on the lapdesk. It will help keep airflow to everything you need even when it's on your lap, and you can get a side attachment for a mousepad (or at least an area for a mouse) so you can still do actual gaming on the couch.

Thanks for the cooler suggestion. Is there a lapdesk that you like?

I've been using an Xpad Slim (for 17inch laptop), the actual pad is only 15inch large, it's great if you plan to use your laptops on your lap. But generally it doesn't really help with the cooling solution by much unless you are trying to use it in bed which gives the laptop a little space to breath.
Here is the official site for Xpad: Xpad4Laptop.com
