hey guys! i'm new here so i'm sorry if i'm not doing ng right ;)
to the problem: i use skullcandy headphones and i know it's for MP3 players, but i have an adapter that splits the cable into mic and audio so i can connect it to my PC. recently i got the NP9150 with the 7970m. i'm very happy with it so farm but i've eecounterd my first problem with it: when ever i connect the headphones to the jack with the adapter the sound quality down-grades a lot. there's also this special jack i've never seen before and it seems that when i connect my headphones to the sound quality gets higher and back to normal. thhe kie problem: i hear this *very* annoying static noise all the time while connected to that plug. like the kind you'd get from an old radio. i want to know if there's a way to fix this. i've heard about external USB sound cards like th xonar but that's too expencive. if you've got a sulotion that's cheaper than 20$ that's be good. the Logitech usb audio adapter is cheap, could it fix my problem?

    please reply! thanks ;)
