I just received my NP9150, and had plans to install my own SSD and Intel Ultimate N 6300. SSD, no problems at all, the wifi card is a different story.

When installed, Windows sees the card as a network controller, and when I install the Sager drivers or the Intel drivers, the device shows up in Device Manager, but with a Code (10) - Device cannot start.

The card is originally from an HP laptop, so I figured it was a bad one. I tried 2 other cards with the same results, both from HP laptops. I even tried the HP drivers from their site. I have read that these card might have been made specifically for HP.

I decided to try a Intel 6200 from a Lenovo laptop, with the same results.

I've swapped out cards in other laptops before and usually the issue is at the Bios stage, where the device is not whitelisted.

    Anyone else have similar experiences?

Are you installing the specific drivers for the wireless card. When you put the 6300 in there you have to install the 6300 drivers. You can download them directly from Intel.

Yep, I'm installing the specific drivers for the 6300, tried the Sager website, Intel website, and even HP. All result in a Code (10) error in Device Manager.

I also want to swap my WiFi adapter, can you please tell me where it is located, under the keyboard or back of laptop?

It's under the keyboard. remove the speaker grill, undo the screws holding the keyboard, and gently lift it off being careful not to damage the connectors. Also make sure it's unplugged and battery is removed.
